If you visit the Master’s Advisors website, and look at Lyle’s Bio page, you will read a quote that is one of his favorites; “Not finance. Not strategy. Not technology. It is teamwork that remains the ultimate competitive advantage, both because it is so powerful and so rare.” – Patrick Lencioni.
At Master’s, we have the unique privilege of experiencing fantastic teamwork. We have never had a more cohesive team of wonderful individuals working together on this team. We encourage and support each other. We look to bring out the best in each person and position them to succeed. Most importantly, we genuinely care for each other & enjoy working together. It has simply become the irreplaceable core of our workplace culture at Master’s.
- You may have also heard a quote attributed to Peter Drucker – “Culture eats strategy for breakfast.” Fostering a unique culture at Master’s has always been our goal, especially during the last 10-15 years. It is more important than any other business strategy we pursue. Our workplace culture at Master’s is built on the foundation of three primary beliefs.
Our Biblical worldview of life and finances: A deep conviction that stewardship and generosity truly are the key to “Managing Wealth…for a Life of Purpose.” - Our commitment and responsibility to our team members: They will be honored and appreciated as individuals. They will be well-cared for, well-compensated, and given every opportunity to succeed. This equips them to serve you well!
- Our commitment to serve you, our clients and friends with excellent planning, advice, and client service, placing your needs first, ahead of our own. We will not forget that our business ceases to exist without you!
Considering our unique culture has become essential when adding team members, and we are currently looking to add to our wonderful team! Marilyn Martin will be stepping into full retirement next month. She has been an integral part of Master’s since day one! We will certainly miss her! Emily Hutto will be transitioning to part-time hours following the near future birth of their son and her subsequent maternity leave.
Our Managing Partner, Garry North, will be sending out an email highlighting the job description and desired characteristics of the person we are looking for. Please consider someone you might know who would be a great fit and embrace the culture of teamwork here at Master’s. As always, we appreciate your input and feedback, and most importantly, your friendship. Thank you!
