This past week was not a typical week at Master’s Advisors. Seven of our team members were attending a large Advisor Group Conference in Texas. Deb and I did our best to “hold down the fort” while they were gone. Conference events like this one provide industry-leading thoughts and ideas related to advanced planning & client servicing, back-office resources, and cutting-edge technology, and more. Participating in events like this one is just one of the ways the team at Master’s is always improving, and always getting better.
The 4th quarter also marks the time of year where we usually have many of our individual Continuing Ed requirements. The team at Master’s devotes many hours per year to continuing education, whether they be for Broker-Dealer Firm Elements, CFP requirements, CRC requirements, or PA State Insurance requirements. Maintaining our designation and licensing requirements are tracked diligently and taken seriously.
Within our team at Master’s, we are fortunate to have 4 CFPs (Certified Financial Planners), 1 CRC (Certified Retirement Counselor), and one team member who has achieved the prestigious MSFS (Masters of Science in Financial Services). As you know, we place a high level of importance on our relationships with you, our clients, and friends. However, in addition to being nice, trustworthy people to work with, we also want you to have the utmost confidence in the competence and skill of our team.
In addition to the items mentioned above, perhaps the most important way that we are always improving, always getting better happens in the day-to-day interactions between the team at Master’s. This occurs during our Strategy & Design Meetings, off-site Planning Days, or during many impromptu meetings that pop-up during any given day. Brainstorming, idea-sharing, and challenging each other’s thought processes are just part of the DNA at Master’s. We are always improving, and always getting better because of these interactions.
Finally, because of our Biblical worldview, we also believe in asking for wisdom & discernment, two priceless sources of gaining knowledge and understanding, truly helping us to always be improving, and always getting better. I am so thankful to have the privilege to be part of this great environment at Master’s. My hope is that as valued clients, you can say the same.
