It’s easy to get wrapped up in all the traditions of Christmas. For many of us, Christmas is a lot of work. It takes considerable effort to bake cookies, buy and wrap gifts, decorate the house for Christmas, and prepare food for Christmas gatherings. All of this is in addition to our typical activities of life, and they all demand our attention and focus.
I’m giving you permission to give yourself a timeout. Take 15 minutes or so to contemplate what Christmas truly means to you.
I trust your mind will be drawn to the amazing generosity of God that He demonstrated by His gift of baby Jesus.
