We have had an exciting past month at Master’s as we have worked through our transition to our own Registered Investment Advisory Firm, Master’s Wealth Management. Here are a few updates on where we stand as we continue to work through the transition process:
- The majority of client accounts have been transitioned from Securities America to Raymond James, our new custodian. However, there are still some accounts that need paperwork completed via DocuSign to transfer. If you have not completed your DocuSign paperwork, please check your inbox for any outstanding envelopes that require your signature. These remaining DocuSign envelopes were re-sent to you this past Friday. Throughout the rest of this week, we will be checking in with those of you who still have DocuSign paperwork outstanding. If you are unsure about the legitimacy of any e-mails you receive from us, please forward them to us and we will verify them for you.
- Residual account balances will continue to come over from Securities America for the next few months, such as dividends or interest that come into your Securities America account after the account transfer to Raymond James. In a few accounts, a Ladenburg mutual fund was not able to be transferred. We are in the process of getting this resolved. No action is needed on your part to transfer residual balances.
- Securities America charges a fee to transfer your account out of their institution. This is standard practice in our industry, and as part of our transition with Raymond James, these fees are being reimbursed to you at Raymond James. You will see a charge on your April Securities America statement for this fee and a corresponding credit in your Raymond James account.
- You do have the ability to access your accounts online with Raymond James. This online portal is where you will elect to have your statements, tax documents, and other account-related information sent to you electronically rather than through the mail. You will need one of your new account numbers to sign up for online access and can follow this link to sign up: https://clientaccess.rjf.com/
Enroll/ClientEnrollment - You can still access Master’s Wealth Manager through our website as you did previously with the same login and password. As accounts transfer over to Raymond James, we will re-connect them in Master’s Wealth Manager, so you have updated balances as you are accustomed to.
We appreciate your support and patience as we finish up this transition and enter a new chapter for Master’s. If you have any additional questions on the transition, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Thank you!
