I do not know about you, but it is hard for me to believe that Thanksgiving is already here, and Christmas is just around the corner! Personally, I love this time of year! I enjoy the food and the rich times spent with family and friends. My wife and I have three kids, ages 5, 4 and 2, so getting to see the holiday season through the eyes of little children certainly enhances the enjoyment.

I have also found this time of year to be a wonderful time for reflection. There is great value in making space during the craziness of this season to reflect on the past. It can be extremely helpful to look back over the previous months and years to see the areas of your life where you have experienced growth (and I am not talking about your portfolio!). We can easily get swept up in the materialism of the season, with all the holiday sales, and gifts, given, and received. My encouragement to you is to be intentional in making some space, and instead of hunting down the best holiday deals on your favorite website or catalog, spend some time reflecting on your life and all the ways you can be thankful.
