We have all sought out our circle of friends and family when it comes to advice, from restaurant choices to vacation destinations, and bigger things like when to retire. These are the folks we consider to be ‘in our corner.’
This group builds you up, cheers you on, holds you accountable, and adds value to your life. They invest their time in you, challenge you to be the best version of yourself, and help you pursue your passions. They tend to be your go-to folks for the milestones of life that need deliberate thought, prayer, and deep, honest conversations.
Having a financial professional “in your corner” is important to help you develop a financial plan, and just as important, to hold you accountable to that plan. Conversations may not always be easy, but knowing you have someone you trust will help you make milestone decisions with more confidence.
In the past few months, I have had the opportunity to work with families living through major life milestones. I have seen the benefits of having periodic conversations with a trusted financial professional. The relationship that develops because of these conversations can bring clarity to folks when planning for a future goal or stage in life. I have seen the sigh of relief when the burden of tough decisions becomes easier, thanks to professionals willing to walk through the planning for the next few months and years to come.
We all need “circles” and “corners” in our lives. At Master’s, we consider it an honor and privilege to be ‘in your corner’!
